Bobby Hanson was a biker and photographer prolific in New York during the 1980s. His work is characterized by a sweetness of form of his subject, rounded curves, and an organic feel. His work during this period documents many of the porn stars of the day, porn movies, the City's sex scene during an era of the Harmony and Plato's Retreat. His clients included Peter Wolff, editor of Oui, Cheri, and Iron Horse, and many other publications. Sometimes he shot together with Rocco DiRico, whose work is also available from Edge.
